I enjoy working on internal combustion engines and the cars around them.
Blowing up stuff! I put on a pretty darn good show twice a year for my friends. New year's included about 320 artillery shells. Damn, I really need to go shopping...
I've got three cats and a parrot that are awesome.
Work pays me to play with a whole bunch of computers, pbx's, routers, switches, blackberries, T1s, T3s, gigabit metro ethernet (RAWK!), and servers.
And for when everything goes horribly wrong, there is a great shooting range 2 miles from the office
I really enjoy shooting my norinco sks, but ever since we invaded Iraq 7.62x39 has been way too expensive. At least that silly 'assault rifle' ban is no more so I can put my bayonet back on!

What normally do you do when you repair computers? I'm studying to get my Comptia A+ Cert.

Sometimes the best solution is to wipe the drive and install one of the Linux flavors.
But not everybody likes Linux - for some unfathomable reason people still like their Windoze. I've reinstalled Windows so many times I've forgot how many. Also upgraded systems to a newer version of Windows.
I clean out all the wee beasties (viruses, worms, trojans, etc.) if need be. Sometimes I replace crashed hard drives or optical drives that have bit the dust. I've changed out power supplies, processors, heat sinks, fans etc.. Every single one of the computers I've worked on has needed a good cleaning -- full of dust and crap.
And all for no charge. If somebody paid me, it wouldn't be a hobby and I probably wouldn't enjoy it. I have no certs of any kind, but I've been using computers since the days of punch cards. You pick up a few things along the way.

Whenever I do work for pay I really try not to bill by the hour. I can pretty much diagnose a computer in 15 minutes or so and give the client an estimate based on how much of my time it will take to fix the pc.
One steadfast rule I have is I will NOT work on site if the client does not have fast internet. If I am onsite and the job will take more than an hour the pc goes home with me and I will deliver it when it is finished.

I love hobbies!I love to cook and clean! <--yes, I am thee perfect wife - LOL
I also love shopping, especially for new perfume or makeup and getting my hair and nails done. (I really am the perfect wife since I even use my own money to support my hobbies - LOL) When I'm not being all girly, I love to go fishing as long as I don't have to touch the bait or the fish! I also love going to yard sales or estate sales and finding old, cheap, beat up furniture to refinish. Refinishing furniture is not only relaxing, it is so rewarding to see progress as you work. Plus, this is the only hobby I can do outdoors with a respirator on to hide my snus. (I have stupid, nosy neighbors). Maybe not so much hobbies, but I also like to walk my dog and hit up the gym, go to the beach and occassionally check out new movies. Hobbies are fun!

I could never charge a church for anything.
Wholeheartedly agree on the fast internet part. If Windoze needs updates, dialup is a no-go. My other hard and fast rule is you can't watch me work on your computer. Can't give away all my secrets!
