Remember the underground gossip when their singer announced he is gay?

He since left Gorgoroth, and their old singer rejoined them, and Ghaal and King Ov Hell was going to do a project, but they had legal isses with the name. I think Ghaal went into fashion, and KOH released his project called Ov Hell, with Shagrath of Dimmu.

Celtic Frost, the UBER heavy band, made one album, I guess in an effort to reach mass appeal, COLD LAKE. Kind of a hybrid of teased hair metal image, psuedo-Frost songs, and a big turn off to their true fans. This album is hated by many, and their wanna-be LA Guns look was a big shock, to me, and others, fans of MORBID TALES, TO MEGA THERION, yet to me, this album is, musically not bad, and I always wished, after CF realized their mistake, they's rerecord this in their true fashion, but they never did. They did make a decent "come back" with their next album, whose title escapes me, even though it's on the shelf somewhere begind me. Anyway, Cherry Orchards, I am thinking of remaking this song, but it a more heavy traditional CF manner. I might do this today.

I like this album. It,s very different to other CF albums. I read somewhere that Tom G Warrior hates it. He said the best track off
it was Human (intro). The album after this was Vanity\Nemesis, and it was a bit heavier, a return to form for CF. I,d like to hear your
version of Cherry Orchards Tom.

Man! This song is kinda hard, the riffs are pretty simple, but the arraingement is odd with that solo mid part in there, kinda placed in an odd place. I redid the song, basically just like the original, but the original did the 1st riff 8 times and I just did it 4. It's also more complete, I messed up on the lyrics on the first one, and got them right this time. I did make a little guitar mistake near the end but it is masked enough with the 2nd guitar, and I didn't want to do it all over again. Anyway, it's just a demo basically.

Yeah Tom, it,s a bit tricky timewise alright. I checked out the original video and the drums are very slow, it,s the riff over the top that is very busy.
That might have thrown you. Well done though.
