Thanks for posting this! I've always meant to check them out, but keep forgetting to. Awesome music. Right up my alley...dark, doomy, and sinister. If you're not familiar with Dark Fortress you should check them out. Their debut albums for a melodic Lord Belial type sound. Their newer albums are my faves though as I'm pretty burned out on Lord Belial.

Edit: After checking out Triptykon on Metal-Archives I realized they're fronted by Warrior from Celtic Frost. I had no idea. Celtic Frost is another band I've always wanted to check out, but some of their earlier stuff didn't seem heavy enough for me. Maybe it was the avant-garde/thrash style. Although, Monotheist and To Mega Therion looks promising.

Never heard of these guys before! If it would have played on the radio I would have guessed it was early-early Black Sabbath. They were definitely an influence for these guys. Not bad at all actually. Like it.

I,ve heard of Dark Fortress before mentioned alongside Triptykon but never actually heard their
Music. I just checked them out, they,re very good i,ll have to pick up one of their cds.
Celtic Frost are a great band, To Mega Therion and Monotheist are two of the best metal albums
ever made in my opinion.

Personally, I much prefer the early Celtic Frost/Hellhammer.
