    The Doors - The End

The greatest of all the songs from Doors. Without a doubt.

Ya, Unearth is awesome. Found a new American metal band I'd never heard of called Divine Heresy and another band that's been around for awhile, but just recently brokeup called A Perfect Murder. I really liked both of them. Trivium is one of my current fav's in metal, too.

I have no idea what's a 'The Mars Volta' but that album cover is pretty gorgeous.

                Music

I like all kind of music. I favor folks music, specialy Bluegrass. Lately I have been listening to rap, K.Maro and Eminem. But I must say, snus along with moonshine and Bluegrass is hard to beat! (pun intended)

I know I've mentioned this band before, but everyone into modern rock should really check out HURT. This band will blow you away. If you're only into power metal or emo or whatever, Hurt probably isn't your cup or tea, though. Their music is so deep and very intellegent. It will blow you away if you give it a chance. I'd say they're a strange mix of Tool, Shinedown, Sinch, Pearl Jam, Seether and many, many other types of music. To me, this band will be legendary some day and NO, they're not mainstream at all. Great band!

Tom Waits is the man! Did you hear the one he did with Primus? Coattails of a Deadman?

                            Zero:

The songs Waits did with Primus are fantastic. "Tommy The Cat" is my personal favorite. "Coattails" is wonderful as well.

I love Waits. Do you have the Orphans box set that he put out last year? If not, I recommend getting it. Three discs of greatness.

I had to pull out Tommy The Cat and listen again - it's one of my favourite Primus songs, but for whatever reason, I had no idea that Tom Waits was Tommy! I guess it's not his 'trademark' voice, so I had no reason to suspect, but hey - learn something every day Haven't heard Orphans, but I'll have to check it out 8)

Yeah, I didn't know Tom Waits was the voice of Tommy at first either. I was really young when I got into Primus... probably 9 or 10 or maybe even 11. I didn't get into Tom Waits until I was 13 or 14, but once I did, my brain immediately made the connection.

Right now I'm listening to Ready For The House by Jandek. Strange genius.
