            Death - Flattening of Emotions

One of the most ass-kicking songs ever made. I just love it.

I have had the Cosmic Genesis album by Vintersorg in my car for about a week now, I can never get tired of the intellectual lyrics and emotional delivery. His earlier stuff such as Till Fjalls is also good.. shame that he has gotten less heavy as time has passed but I don't mind a bit.

Think I am going to swap it out for Borknagar - Empiricism. Guess this means my day has been full of Vitamin N and Mr. V!

Jandek - I Painted your Teeth.

Seriously, everyone needs to experience this stuff.

                              Tremendous. Another Jandek fan.

"You Painted Your Teeth" is genius. Really the entirety of Telegraph Melts is genius. It was shocking to hear him being so vocally aggressive.

You heard "The Myth Of Blue Icicles" yet? I got it a couple of days ago and I've listened to it twice. It's very good. Acoustic and vocals, in similar vein to his recent output of that nature (i.e. Khartoum, I Threw You Away, When I Took That Train, etc.) but with less of that "howling" thing he does with his vocals. Personally I like it when he howls, but "Icicles" is great regardless.

*edit: currently listening to Somebody In The Snow.

Today I've been on a Sebadoh, Miranda Sex Garden, Sonic Youth, Throwing Muses, and Husker Du kick.

Some Breeders, Frank Black, and Pixies also, but they are like the air I breath.
