I see that Ron Paul is garnering 5-10% of the Republican primary voting. I think that Paul has used the primaries to get his message across to a wider audience than ever before possible. It remains to be seen whether he will drop out of the race, bowing to the McCain juggernaut.

I live in one of the most liberal cities I can think of and there is Ron Paul shit everywhere. I would like to see what would happen if democrats were able to vote for him during the primaries. 15% looks a lot better than 6-9% you know?

Yeah, he's come in second place in a few states and is winning an impressive number of delegates - that's something important too. With Romney out of the race, I think it boosts his chances even more. The other big thing he's doing is creating a large number of very politically active individuals who will run for congressional seats as well - Ron Paul Republicans will be coming out of the woodwork.

Well, with Romney out of the race, Ron Paul did mention recently there is almost zero chance now of a brokered convention..which is apparently the ticket to getting Ron Paul anywhere. I don't know much about this whole run-up to the general election at all. it's all very latin to me as I've never really paid attention to it before (never had a reason to as there's always been a lack of Ron-Paul-caliber candidates for me to give a shit about it). but apparently a brokered convention is needed so that it's not some winner-take all scenario, or something along those lines. it seems he and the supporters have turned their spotlight back on his district to make sure he wins that and otherwise continuing to spread the general ideas of Ron Paul, instead of trying to actually campaign for Ron Paul.
I don't know but it's all very depressing to me lately. I was pissed after super tuesday. come to find out it's not the end, start feeling ok again, find out it pretty much is the end, and feel like shit again. ugh.
