    ARIZONA bans Global Warming legislation

Arizona Looks to Outlaw Global Warming Legislation

One state looks to ensure its citizens do not have to pay for climate change efforts

Climate change is a controversial topic. Some believe man is causing the world to warm. Others point out that the Earth has undergone solar warming and cooling for millions of years and that current temperatures are well within historic levels. A recent report challenging AGW theory showed significant support with 31,478 U.S. researchers and scientists, many of whom hold Ph.D's, signing a statement that they believe that man has not played a part in the current warming trend.

That is because "global warming" is a crock of shit. It's just a means to more regulation and more taxation....

Most of the population, however, has bought it hook, line, and sinker...

Global warming is a fact. Whether or not humans are causing it is up for debate.

        8)

That nice petition with 31 thousand signatures doesn't say global warming isn't happening only that they believe humans aren't responsible for it.

I would like to take this opportunity to tell Al Gore to find a cave, sit in it and not come out till everyone that's close to him agrees that he's actually had a good idea.

            Ahhh, it's Manbearpig! (Southpark reference).

"I am being totally serial about it! This is a SERIAL issue guys!!"

Honestly though, I really could give 2 shits about a half fack about the hoopla concerning global warming or anything like that. I do know it exists (but I think it is attributed to both man, albeit a small portion, but mostly volcanic activity and such).

I am very much more worried about the crazy arsehole in North Korea...Nukes>Global Warming IMHO

Yes, global warming is a natural trend, and we have had roughly the same temp since 2001. Many of the "mainstream facts" have been debunked.

Most countries are backing out of this global warming hype as noted here: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124597505076157449.html

I am sure we play some role, as does anything including when a cow farts. But is it worth the IMMENSE cost to our economy during this time of recession? I think it should be more towards the end fo the list, raising taxes and passing cap and trade to make energy more expensive is not the right solution. Its just another scheme to get money from my wallet and filter it up the chain to the feds.

EDIT: Also, the sun is in it coolest phase it has been for a long time and they dont know why. These are natural cycles, this thing where it will look like that movie "Waterworld" in 50 years when all the ice on earth melts is bogus.

The old commie red party is now the new green party. Don't be fooled.

I do not mean to get political here but all Americans need to look at the Cap and Trade Legislation that is working its way through Washington as we speak. In the name of Global warming they are trying to pass one of the biggest and undermining taxes on all of us with this legislation. I would advise all of you to look it up and call your reps in Washington and voice a yes or hopefully a NO vote for the Cap and Trade legislation.

In Florida: ‘President of TECO, Tampa Electric on the Tube and he stated that if they pass this Energy Bill you had better hold on to your WALLETS. He stated that at first it will cost the single household $1,000.00 a year but since Coal is 60% of what we use for energy, if Congress gets rid of Coal we will have to pay at least 3 To 4 times that amount($3,000.00 to $4,000.00 a year)’

The Earth has actually been cooling for the last several years. Al Gore is a fraud and stands to make out like a bandit with this new legislation. He may become the first "green" billionaire.

Doesn't anybody remember Obama saying during the campaign that electricity rates would soar and the coal companies would be put out of business? He's keeping that campaign promise. And people are surprised?

Even people in this fight that hate Al Gore would tell you you are wrong. The earth is warming. The debate is whether it is caused by human beings and if we can do something about it.

If the Earth had been cooling we wouldn't be talking about being able to navigate through the northwest passage.

It helps if you use the real NASA data, and not what Durkin makes up and gets reposted on denier websites.

If you want to prove me wrong, then provide me with the actual NASA link.
