1934 warmest year on record?

Many of the blogs make no distinction between "warmest year in American history" and "warmest year in world history." And the difference, as you might expect, is more than a little significant. The revised list, from NASA, does indeed put 1934 as the warmest year -- in the lower 48 contiguous members of the United State of America.

But the warmest year globally remains 2005, followed by 1998, 2002 and 2003 and 2004. And the of the 12 hottest years on record, only one -- 1990 -- does not occur in the last 12 years.

Typical tactics from climate deniers like you. I guess if you throw enough shit against the wall some of it will stick huh?

I'll give you an example of how such a tiny amount of something can have effects on us:

The lethal dose of Potassium or Sodium Cyanide is 200-300 milligrams
A 200 pound adult weighs 90,718,474 milligrams

That's a whopping 3.3 parts per million

The AGW alarmists keep talking about the conspiracy of fossil fuel companies and others to falsely discredit the theory.

Here is an excellent article that shows exactly what is happening, the govt has spent 76 billion dollars the last ten years on global warming and the scientists and others are just chasing the money. Wall Street wants to create another currency, carbon credits. 120 billion in carbon credits were traded world wide last year. Industry wants on the band wagon, they want govt funding for their products. Some call this the climate-industrial complex. President Eisenhower also warned of this in his closing address to the nation, to beware of the nations scholars and scientists who chase government grants and get to close to politics.
