Interestingly enough, he made some good music back in the day but being a victim of his own success lead him down a really screwed up road.

Oh, and just to admit it and get it out of the way, I had some zipper pants as a kid in the 80's.

Jackson 5 era up to thriller was pretty good. I haven't listened to much of his music after. Hard to get back into it after all the hoopla about the kiddie stuff.

This is really sad to hear. MJ has a very hard life, being abused by his own father. I used to groove to this stuff back in the day, and Farrah too, she was always really beautiful.

My family had cable in the 80s and MTV was a staple with me.

A firend of mine asked me "did you hear the news?". I thought he was talking about Farrah, but then he told me about Michael Jackson. It's like all of the stars from back when I was a kid are dropping like flies. Kinda sad really.
