I would recommend that you see 'Into the Wild' It was a very good film and it reminded me of myself.
That movie was downright incredible! I ended up watching it 4 times back to back!

I love true story movies like that!

Two very enthusiastic thumbs up!! 8)

I have a thing for cheesey action films so heres some of my favs, most are older from the 80's

          Bloodsport
          Kickboxer
          Hard Target
          Lionheart
          Fast and Furious 1-4
          Delta Force 1-2
Rambo 1-4 (although IMHO I thought the first one had some depth to it)
          Predator

And probably one of the best cheesey action films I found is called Undefeatable. Its a great movie to watch drunk with friends. Heres a spoiler of it, the final fight scene

Have you ever seen a Clint Eastwood movie that didn't rock?

                Basic.

John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson.

Awesome movie about a former Ranger (Travolta) turned D.E.A. agent, coming back to investigate a crime that has taken place at his old training base that involved his old hard ass instructor (Jackson). The movie is great from start to finish with some very amazing twists throughout.

If I'm flipping through cable and if I find either Patton, The Great Escape or Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, I have to stop what I'm doing and watch the movie all the way through to the end, no matter how many times I've seen 'em before.

It looks like they are making a sequel, but unfortunately it looks as if William Defoe isn't going to be in it.

If you haven't seen the documentary "Overnight", I highly recommend it. It's the story of Troy Duffy and how he went from being an East Boston bartender working on a script to a successful screenwriter and director... and then how he lost it all by letting the fame go to his head, pissing off the wrong people (like Harvey Weinstein at Miramax), etc. It's kinda depressing at the end, but it explains why Boondock Saints never got a big theater release and why a sequel is a long time coming.

(Also, Troy never bothered to negotiate DVD/video royalties when he made his film deal, so he never got one red cent when Boondock Saints became a sleeper hit on DVD.)
