The Boy in the Striped Pajamas was superb. The acting was great, as well as the ironic ending (I won't spoil it for you).

This movie is a few years old, but I highly recommend The Last King of Scotland. Its a blend of fiction and true events about Idi Amin's regime in Uganda during the 1970's. Forrest Whittaker's acting is some of the best I've seen in years.

Has anyone seen Inglorious Basterds yet?

I've heard good things about this one; it's on my Netflix queue.

On a Netflix side note: Not a movie, but guess what I just received?

The Lancelot Link: Secret Chimp collection.

        Evolution Revolution FTW!

But, it's a Swedish vampire movie that turns into the weirdist/cutest romance film I've ever seen. Definitely out there.

          http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1139797/

Here's a torrent for it with english subtitles
          http://www.torrentreactor.net/torren...%29-NewArtRiot

the file name is messed up on the torrent,
it will download as "L&aring" without the suffix
dowload it and add .torrent to the filename and then your bittorrent client will recognize it.

I'll watch it tomorrow and report back.

              Thanks shikitohno, great movie.

I had to go back and freeze frame that nude shot of Eli. I guess Oskar having sex with her was out of the question

and if people don't want to or don't know how to download it. Netflix has it

Just watched this last night on Netflix. That ending was.....ironic is the best word to describe it really. Besides that I haven't watched any newer movies lately. I've been making my two year old watch all of the good 80's kids movies. The Boy Would Could Fly, Flight Of The Navigator, The Neverending Story, Return To OZ, The Secret Of Nimph, All Dogs Go To Heaven, An American Tail, and so on.

It's definitely a strange one. Apparently, it's based on a book. I'm dying to read the book, but I haven't heard from Barnes & Noble since I ordered it last December. If you want, I can explain the weird nude scene with Eli in a PM. The movie was supposed to have really simplified the events of the book.

I understand it, I read the full synopsis on imdb.
Which people don't want to read if they don't want any spoilers. 8)
                          Thanks again.

I can give one recommendation for a movie to avoid at all costs unless you like bad Japanese movies. Tokyo Gore Police was pretty horrible, much like it's name would make it sound. It even has a villain whose penis turns into a giant rifle. It was funny, but pretty horrible.
