3,000 Posts

So I had intended to post something as I crossed over the 3,000 post mark. But got distracted and didn't notice I had already gone over. But better late than not.

I just want to take a moment and thank EVERYONE here. I can not begin to express how proud I am of being so heavily involved with such an amazing community. We have had our hard moments lately. For a bit, the crankiness here was dialed up bad, and I played my own role in some of that and am working to ensure I never go there again. A few weeks ago, as bills passed, we seemed to reach a critical moment here. And Everyone seems to have recognized it and pulled it back.

Now, over the past few weeks, we have been nothing but sunshine and kittens again. And I really am SO impressed with how folks came together and just seemed to insist on refocusing Snuson back to where it should be.

Thank you, everyone, for being here. For continuing to jump to help the next newbie who stumbles in here after first discovering snus, for reaching out and helping folks who might be in need. Just for sharing EVERYTHING about your passion we love as snus.

I have posted a few times that I am so old at these online communities. Was a BBSer even before the web. And never in 15 years have I found a community as awesome as Snuson.

So I have every intention of sticking around for another 3,000 posts. :lol: :lol:

Congratulations Sage! Before joining SnusOn, I lurked for a while and was amazed at how friendly everyone seemed to be. All too often I see forum veterans such as yourself on other forums who seem to make it their goal to run newbs off of the board. You, on the other hand, always have a helpful or constructive comment to make. Very cool. Hope to see you around for 3,000 more.

Glad to see you crossing this milestone bud. It has been an extreme pleasure to get to know you over these past few months and I think if anyone asked me who my friends were you and the fishes and a few others around here would certainly be on that list. I can't tell you how much help you and others have been to me while i've quit the nasty smoking habit and starting my strange unusual journal of snus discovery. So heres to hoping that one day i too will reach well into the thousands around here. I strive to pass you...although I think I would have to come to your house and knock you out for a month or so to even try and catch up

beja, that is what I take my role here to be. Welcoming newbies. As I said, I have been involved with various online communities for years, and know what it takes to keep them healthy. The one thing I always try to do is respond to someone new in such a way as to draw them out, get them to post more. Looking at how blessed we are with so many newbies going on to soon become experienced vets helping out the next wave behind them, makes me proud of what I do.

Thank you everyone else as well. It's YOU guys (and gals) that keep me coming back for more!!!

Forums like this are a great source of information for new snusers, and members like Sage are a big help in that regard.
