I have two dogs. One has been somewhat adopted by my parents. He is a boxer/lab mix named Tank. Full brindle coat, 110LB of sugar. He is a sweetheart, but was an abused rescue. Very sketchy around loud noise. He isnt "bite your face off" sketchy, more like "sit in the corner and shake and drool" sketchy. So he stays at my folks place now where it is nice and quiet. I live right next to a military airfield. I am moving to a quieter neighborhood in about 10 days, but they have pretty much told me that they are keeping him. I dont mind really. He is happy there with their dog (a pitt/bloodhound mix) and they only live about 20-30 miles away so I go take him to the park often.
My second dog that I just adopted from my current roommates is a pitt/american bulldog mix. I wanted it to be a boy so I could name him Dozer (per the matrix charictors Tank & Dozer). But, alas, it is a girl. Her name was Dixie when the roommates bought her as a puppy. They renamed her to Pixie (lame if i might say so myself). I have retrained her to respond to Doja. I mean hey... If i cant name her Dozer, I can surely giver her a more feminine sounding name that holds close to my Tank/Dozer naming convention
Will post pics of the 2 when I get home.
