I saw their xmas show a couple of years ago at the Grand Opera House in Wilmington. Excellent show, and excellent venue. They're gonna be there again this year, but I think it'll be a little too expensive for me. It's for charity, and tickets start at $150, and go up from there :^( I'd need at least 2 tickets so my daughter could go also; BSO is one of her favorite bands :^)

Your daughter is a very lucky to have a father that is so musically diverse! Mine is only 6 months old, but I want to bring her up to appreciate all genres of music, and not just the trash they play on the
      Top 40 station!

We ended up going last week to the Dylan show I was talking about earlier(I think I talked about it anyway :^/)

It was pretty good. Willie Nelson got rained out(same as the last time a few years ago). John Mellencamp was very good, the first time I've seen him. I thought Dylan was great, but my girl was a little disappointed. His set was rocked out this time, and she would have preferred it more acoustic. That's one thing I like about Dylan; You're never sure what his show's going to be like, and it changes from tour to tour. Any individual show may or may not be to your liking, but it's guaranteed to be fresh, and a surprise :^)

the true reason he starts the thread in the first place.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

              Hahaha,

I love this thread. I had no idea it would get so big. I can feel the Christmas cheer already. I might have to start passing out candy canes.

PS -1 Portion of Nordstrommen Julsnus...now at a new lower price: $45

Hey now, as a smoker my favorite time of the year was winter. Nothing better than lighting up outside on a frosty winter morning.

                    Seriously, it was great.

I agree. If I don't happen to feel like smoking now, I'll still go out with the smokers and talk. The smell of smoke on cold air rocks. Besides that, smokers are more fun to hang with :^D

I have to say....it was the most anticipated and ostensibly wonderful yet completely disappointing snus I have ever had.

                                can't....wait.....to......try.....julesnus!!!!

any of you smart old dags wanna PM me with the cool seasonal stuff?

maybe some pumpkin pie flavored snus at thanksgiving.... if it's not available I'll have to make my own... probably with Ettan and spices, maybe a bit of sugar mixed in.

maybe some cider flavor mixed in snus... am I just hungry and wanting some holiday food right now?
