After breaking dragons agerigins and Mercenaries 2, I have decided to only buy used games now. So am reliving all my favorites or games I didnt play in the past, 14$ at a time.
Right now im beating every command and conquer game for Xbox360. I love RTS.
Then im going to go back and beat Fallout 3 again.

My only issue with COD is that im more of a single player guy. In COD MW2 is the single player campaign longer or is it short and can be done in maybe 1 or 2 nights. Not super intirested in the multiplayer but if the single player is longer ill buy it, as COD are the best war games off all time. (Kanye west told me after interupting an announcement of Dragon's Age)

The COD: MW2 single players is incredibly short compared to other multiplayer games. The story is no less gripping, though, but expect some heart breaking scenes in it. My gripe is with the multiplayer for the PC version. No dedicated servers so I can't regular a server or pick which ones to go to, no console, no admins... They tried to make it as close to playing the 360 version on the PC as possible. I don't want a console style game on my PC. That's why I bought a PC game. I want the flexibility and options of modifying things for mods and spinoffs and fine tuning controls and settings. That's one of the reasons I loved Valve for their Half Life series.
-edit-
I will say I really enjoy COD4 (MW1). Some things could definitely use tweaking, and some of it has been addressed in MW2, but what makes it shine for me is the ability to create games as large or small as I'd like, fine tune settings, fine tune controls, and regulate the server and who is on it. Then throw in the fact that I can jump on my clan server whenever I'd like and kill with my crew... awesomeness.

When will these developers realize the reality of what people want. Open source things or the ability to edit and allow the community to morph the thing over time. That is what makes PC different (read as superior) to consoles,
Perfect example: Counterstrike
Let the community customize things and it will live forever. Try to controll things to much and it will die out.
If MW2 is only really for multiplayer than i'm not buying it. Ill rent it for the single player maybe.
