I've been more into Fallout 3 than Oblivion, not because of quality mind you. Not quite sure why, Fallout 3 just completely blew me away. I have loved every bit of Oblivion but haven't gotten too far in it as compared to Fallout. Just something about Fallout 3, if you haven't yet; PLAY THIS GAME.

oblivion was my main squeeze long before fallout, and morrowind even before that. bethesda is king shit of rpg mountain. (though bioware kicks ass too) and yeah oblivions bigger, longer, and in some ways just a better game. however, the post apocalyptic world of fallout combined with the adult themes and black humor, the guns in an rpg (rarity) all make fallout 3 my favorite game of all time. i have fallout 1 and 2 also, and theyre pretty cool, but if i was a prayin man id be thanking some deity every night before i lay me down that bethesda bought the rights to make fallout games. they are a smart bunch.

Anyone else played the new DLC for Borderlands: Dr Ned's Zombie Island?

I purchased/beat it yesterday and it was pretty good. Nothing novel, just about 25 new missions and some cool zombies. But I would say was worth the 10$.

Also, I just bought Shadow Complex and it ****ing rocks!

Naw I havn't tried that one yet, btu will soon. I am on a mission to play every game demo on Xbox live at the moment. The zombie apocolypse one is pretty cool as far as twin stick shooters go, and is fun in multiplayer but nothing real novel.

                  my favorite arcade games are:
                  shadow complex (by a mile)
                  marble blast ultra
                  zuma
                  puzzle quest
                  magic the gathering
                  braid (really, REALLY cool)
castle crashers (good multiplayer, bought a second controller just to play this with my girlfriend)

Lol my wife did the same thing when she was pregnant lol. It's one of maybe 3 games she will play on xbox but she will play them for hours if not disturbed.

Im getting into a retro mood which si why i've moved towards arcade and indie games.

Im also a huge tower defense game lover but so far they only have 1 good one on xbl "Defense Grid". But it is excelent.

Hey guys, there is an xbox live for windows game called Tinker. It's a little puzzle game, it's free, and it gives you achievement points. Check it out, it's actually kinda fun. I've been playing it all morning while at work. Nothing like getting paid to earn achievements.

Okay, i'm about to drop some old school shit on you guys.

I just finished playing the 1990's game, "The Secret of Monkey Island".

Man how I love simple games. Theres somehtign about old games that diliver so much more than all the new 3d super crazy games we enjoy on xbox. 8 bits is all I need!

For sure, the classics are where its at sometimes. But sometimes I see people seriously acting like new games are garbage because they're 3D and shit, and it's kinda irritating. Online multiplayer alone puts a stomping in the old stuff.

Favorites of my childhood included NES Zelda & Mario1-3.

Nowadays really loving games like MW2, but going back to play old shit is always awesome.

lol, anyone who says new games suck is retarded. I love all the new games available and am glad theyve pumped so much money into producing good consoles/software. I think sometimes playing old games offers something the new ones cant (nastalgia), but that doesn't mean by a stretch that new games suck.
