You know I have never played the 2nd gears of war and I only played the demo for l4d, since it seems to be only a multiplayer game and I tend to do mainly single player stuff. Nothing cooler than killing zombies though.

Does MW2 have nazi zombies or no?

Sweet. Yah I already have all the XP and loot I need. My weapons are pretty unstoppable, so you can grab everything you want.

Cool. That's another area he's a douche about. He takes all of the loot weapons that he already has and sells them, when I could use them. You would like L4D. It is multiplayer, but kinda in the same sense as Borderlands. You can play 4 against the zombie horde, kinda like a story mode. I don't really play the pvp part of it.

I'm the same, i'm not as into pvp multiplayer or deathmatches, I prefer multiplayer co-op, although it can get difficult for the reason you just described, some people are douche canoes.

I played the L4D demo and the other players just kept shooting each other instead of the zombies, not sure if I was on the short bus server or what but it was very annoying since friendly fire was on.

That's the only problem with L4D. Friendly fire is always on. I prefer mutilplayer co op as well. That's why I really liked Gears. They did it good.

Ok - answer me this (seeing as this is a gaming thread).....why do PS3 games have such shitty control assignments?

I mean....there are two shoulder buttons and two "trigger" buttons - admittedly the triggers aren't as good as the Xbox controllers, but they should OBVIOUSLY be used as triggers. Instead, most of the PS3 games I have played use the shoulder buttons for the triggers. WTF ????

Right trigger should equal FIRE - always. On any platform. Left trigger should be AIM, or GRENADE, and the shoulder buttons should be AIM or SWITCH WEAPON.

Simple.

I have Xbox 360, Wii and PS3 and the nonituitive PS3 controller assignments is really beginning to piss me off.

i have no idea but the n64 had the best layout for fps outside of keyboard and mouse. i like the cod scheme on ps3 l1 aim r1 fire, l2 special grenades, r2 equipmnent. just feels right to me. i really wish sinve they have usb support i could use a kb and mouse. i could get a fragfx but for that kind of $ i could buy a game

Ahhh the good old days of goldeneye and perfect dark lol. The funny thing is I still play those along with mario kart at college. Its like the cool thing to do to play those 'retro' games.... probaly because its easy enough to do when totally wasted.

I never seem to be good at keeping track of my keyboard keys whenever I play anything on the pc. I am slowly learning because I'm playing a mmo that almst requires usage of keyboard often.

well gentlemen, it finally happened.

my xbox is broken.

not even the red ring. it wont read discs. i initially thought it might be the lens, but the discs arent even spinning. the drives motor probably crapped out from overuse. my roommate plays while im at work, i get home and usually play all night, and we use it as a dvd player all the time. it was bound to happen.

so im out my favorite pastime for a few weeks or so. i was planning on buying a 60gb hard drive for it pretty soon anyway, so im thinking about just buying an xbox 360 elite instead, and finding out how much microsoft would ask to fix it, and sell this one.
