due to a shitty cold, I've done nothing but hit up fallout 3 on the 360 for the past 3 days and I finally see how incredible the game is. I also have bioshock 2 on preorder, that might be the game to finally convince me to subscribe to live.

Lol me too. I beat it once but now im doing it again playing as an evil character and doing every side mission instead of the main plot. It's like a whole new game!

ahaha i love that game dude, ive done every quest in the game and all 5 downloads 4 times over, good, evil, neutral, evil again. i have every achievement for fallout 3. it is my highest crowning achievement in life im pretty sure.

that's pretty insane! Which play through did you enjoy most? I'm sneaking and sledging everything in sight and having a blast.

i really enjoyed playing evil characters. but my favorite character was a sneak/unarmed specialist. my others were sneak/melee, sneak/small guns, and my most recent was a little more trying to get creative. i only used fire weapons and got the pyromaniac perk, so i did hella damage with fire, and primarily used the firelance, shishkebab, and flamer. the firelance rules. sneaks a central theme in all my characters, but i feel like its a crucial aspect to the game.

Ive never tried to do anything with sneak or unarmed. Im more of a rifle kind guy. I got the special SMG and the infiltrator from the pitt so I use mainly those, then use the pitt ammo press to carry around like 2k rounds for each of em lol.

Being evil is way cooler because you can sell slaves for money and jack whatever you want. Much easier than trying to be a good boy.

So I couldn't help it, I caved and bought COD:MW2, even though i knew I would beat the campaign in 2 nights after work and probably rarely play the multi-player....


All I have to say is WOW. The level of realism in this game so realistic, I could see a platform like this being used for army training simulations.
(Other than the fact that you can get shot multiple times etc) but I mean the way the AI interacts, etc is amazing.

I only played a few levels but the one where your in a convoy going through a town and all of a sudden you get pop shots from the rooftops etc. I was like "omg this is blowing my mind". I wish they could hire the people who make games like this to make our training simulations better for the army.

When i was in we had simulations where you have a rifle and your in a 3d style shooting range basicly where you can practice not killing civilians etc, but the graphics were terrible and the whole thing was very predictable. If you could have a live action 3d recreation of some of these levels it would be amazingly helpfull for people who have never been in theatre before to see what it's really like.


Anyways, havn't tried the multiplayer yet but this game is truly amazing in every way. I am going to level up on multiplayer for a while and then i'll come play cowboy and indian with some of the snuson people who've got MW2.

still havent gotten off my ass and even looked for my xbox's serial number to get it repaired. i guess im taking a gaming break to catch up on some reading, fathering, boyfriending. i pretty much hate 2/3 of those things.

today i decided instead of getting an elite, i might get my xbox repaired, get a new hard drive for it, and maybe buy a ps3. im really getting pissy about uncharted 1 and 2 being sony exclusives. still not sure. gotta get my taxes done first before i make any decisions.

Yah I played multiplayer last night and I think I just found my new favorite game. And I am pissed that mass effect 2 is coming out tomorrow, I totally forgot and I bought MW2 instead. Oh well, looks like my wife is going to be pissed when I buy ME2 in the same week

I hear you about that tax return, i'm getting $5,200 back this year. Gonna be sweet. Unfortunately it will all go to pay off my debt, but it is all part of my plan to be completely debt free, and owning two new vehicles that are paid off by the end of this year, so it will be money well spent.

Every Xbox that I've had repaired eventually f'd up again. I pulled the trigger on the MW2 Xbox and its awesome. I always save my games to the hard drive. Playing the games from there seems to make my Xbox run cooler/quieter and it doesn't have to constantly read the disk.

What's the deal in MW2 where you can't play special ops missions on xbox live unless you invite someone? They should have matchmaking servers for that. Its fun solo but it really requires a partner.

In other non MW2 related gaming news: God Of War 3 release date is March 16th. Sure, I can finish Final Fantasy XIII in a week. :shock: Not sure what to do about this. Might have to wait a little while before picking up GoW.
