Havent played Bioshock yet, I was waiting for the second one to come out before taking the plunge. Is it worth the price? Any online play?

Bioshock2 has mp, but it remains to be seen if the community is active. All the mp in the world's useless if there's no one to play with :^D The only mp I do is UT2k4. I won't get to play Bioshock2 until Easter, so that remains to be seen.
I like single player games. Those are the epitome of the game makers art. Mp is easy. You make an empty map, and tell people to go at it. I like story, atmosphere, gameplay, and gfx. It's a shame companies don't do sp games like they used to :^(

Seriously, I only play SP and yet they keep making new MP only games. The first time I bought an MP only game I was so pissed. I was like there NO single player? You mean I have to interact with other humans? That defeats the whole purpose of video games! lol

Originally posted by VeganpunkI agree. I prefer single player, especially co op. There's nothing like two friends huddled around on TV, killing digital foes together. I had more fun running through the co op story in Gears then I do playing the multiplayer.

Oblivion didn't impress me a whole lot. Fallout 3 on the other hand is probably the best game I've ever played. And yes, everything else just feel so flat nowIt reminds me of the first I read Celine's 'Journey to the end of the Night' ... suddenly (and for a good while) it seemed that no other book had anything to say.

I bought it and it started off slow so I stopped playing it after about 30 minutes and didn't touch it untill several months later when I was bored one day. But now i am so addicted to it that I sink every free moment into playing and I am pretty sure ti is ruining my marriage lol. I like Fallout 3 and it is my favorite game but Oblivion is just so much larger in scope. I don't even know how they fit all of it onto 1 disk.

Originally posted by SubtiloI gave Oblivion somewhere between 20 and 30 hours. I enjoyed it a lot in the beginning, but somewhere I just lost interest in it. I think I'm a bit tired of that particular kind of setting/universe - another reason why Fallout 3 was such a refreshment.

i like all kinds of games, but the bethesda type rpg is unstoppable to me. i get to the point of not even caring about whats going on in real life, as much as i care about how my fallout/oblivion characters coming along. i really loved oblivion, but its so huge, i only played through it once and that took forever, and i still have dozens of uncompleted side quests. on the other hand ive played every single quest in fallout 4 times over.
