Just recently completed Assasins Creed 2 followed by Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. The multiplayer in codmw2 is different than I am used to as it seems to be all points and not like for 30 min like I used to do with the original series.
other gamers here?

asscreed2 is awesome. so much better than the first. i mean, SO much better. the end of it is the curveball of the century.
im still playing RDR. but its not really sucking me in. the story is barely there, and im very much a story guy. though the gameplay is fantastic.
also i think im gonna get the mw2 map pack that just came out. i kinda got back into that game a few days ago.

The story gets a better in the end and has a twist at the end as well. The multiplayer is tight. Personally I like RPG hybrids like borderlands, and this falls more in the realm of a GTA style shooter/sandbox than an rpg, so I didn't expect much story, mainly a lot of different missions for various characters. I like RDR better than GTA though imo, though they could have expanded the weapons, levels, rewards for completing challenges etc.
Incase you didn't know, if oyu get to level 10 hunter when you skin a deer or something it will give you consumable meat that refills your health, and if you get to level 10 survivalist it will distill any herbs you pick into tonics to refill your deadeye meter. Comes in handy. The outfits are almost all pointless except the one that lets you cheat at poker, and the good one that makes your deadeye meter bigger doesn't come untill you've beat everything in the game. But you can go back and replay everything andtheres no challenges etc after the games done so it has some replay value. The multiplayer is what i'm working on right now.

I'm pretty sure I've spent at least 1/3 of my time in RDR playing poker, and around half of it gambling in general. I got pretty damn good at liar's dice. Beat the game myself a little while ago, itching for more to do than just complete challenges. I can see another playthrough in the near future, since I was a good guy pretty much all the time the first time through.
I enjoyed Borderlands a lot, but as far as RPG hybrids go I find myself wishing that it had more depth. RDR, with one more disc of missions/locations and some dialogue options would've made a top-notch Mass Effect style RPG. I'm looking forward to playing through "Outlaws to the End" with my girlfriend. Yes, she digs video games (we've been playing through borderlands lately) and westerns.
So that makes me the winner.

Yah it was big but I felt it could have had more missions. It doesn't take much to add a few more meaningless missions in there. I am done with all the challenges and am working on beating all multiplayer challenges. I hear they are releasing a free DLC that adds some new challenges and some new missions but I think it's only new co-op misssions.
