Hey if you promise not to be a thief you are welcome to borrow any of the xbox games I have. I have most of the good games (at least ones I think are good). Probably a good 20 or so in total including any of the good new releases from this past year.

I definitely promise to not be a thief, not in my character. Although i can't really prove that to you since i have never traded with you before. I wouldn't really feel right borrowing from you without some collateral. I dont know what systems you have beyond a 360.

I have:

A 360, quite a few games
Some original xbox games (as far as i know; all playable on the 360)
Playstation 1
Sega Genesis
Sega Dreamcast
Nintendo Gamecube
Nintendo DS
Some original gameboy games and gameboy advance games

If none of those work for you i have quite a few movies (plus a few [10 or so] HD-DVDS for the 360 if you have the HD-DVD player).

PM me and i can give you a list of what i have for what you would be interested in.

Off the top of my head, the one game i can think of that i have heard you talk about that i'd really like to play is Red Dead Redemption.

Hopefully i have something that i could send you for collateral; if nothing else there is always snus.

plants vs zombies looks really cool.

limbo is like, no music, black and white, no story, open for interpretation, platform/puzzle game. youre a boy stuck in limbo trying to find your sister and its just a really cool game. i challenge you to not buy the full version if you play the demo.

Hi gamers. I used to be a big PC gamer, not so much anymore. I bought a PS3 Slim mainly to play GTA4. I put well over 100 hours on that game, that might be the most fun I've ever had with a game. Just yesterday I finished the main missions on the first expansion "Lost and Damned", I'll probably play that one for a while yet before moving onto "The Ballad of Gay Tony".

I had never looked at Red Dead Redemption before stumbling onto this thread, but it looks great. I am going out to buy it right now actually, so thanks!

Hey Snarfblat. I used to do a lot of PC games but got tired of having to upgrade my graphics card every year so now only do consolesl namely Xbox 360.


I just got done with "Lost and Damned" and "Gay Tony". I personally liked the gay tony one a lot better, the characters were cooler and I didn't have to ride that ****ing motorcycle which I hate riding. Much faster and cooler cars in gay tony, and more helicopters.


If you havn't played red dead redemption than you need to get on that stat. Easily the best game of the year. It's like GTA 4 in the wild west but somehow amazingly better than GTA if you ask me. Very cool gameplay and it's LONG.





In other news. I mentioned before that I started playing Metro 2033 but that I had only played it for a day so since I was at the beginning I wasn't sure how good it would be. Well, I started playing it again this morning, for an hour, and beat it. It was so short and it made me so mad when the credits started rolling. Literally there should have been DOUBLE the amount of levels that were in there. This is the last time this shit is happening to me, i'm just renting from now on. I'm sick of paying 60$ for something I beat over the weekend. It was a cool game but shit, it was just way to short, especially for a standard corridor shooter. I'm just trying to last till fall when good games start coming out.


Also, did anyone play Alan Wake. If so, wtf is it about? It got great reviews. And I checked out limbo, i'll have to swoop that up for sure.

that sucks about metro 2033. i heard it wasnt that good.

i still havent played alan wake but really really want to. basically from what i understand hes a writer who had a series of books and ended it by killing off the main character and now has writers block so hes vacationing in this little new england town where some shits going down and at night people become like zombies or something and you have to shine light on them. looks cool.

i mostly rent games except for those that i read enough reviews that tell me its good enough and long enough to justify buying it. but there are also always games that i want to play regardless of how short they are, i just want to play a new game for a couple of days and be done with it.

and i think i liked lost and the damned more than ballad of gay tony a little bit. i thought jimmy was awesome and the main character from ballad of GT was a whiny little bitch. i liked banging the girl in the office and base jumping, but other than that id rather be niko bellic or jimmy whatever. plus i kinda dig the biker culture, and not so much the night club culture.

Had to take a drive (turned out to be pointless minus the games) to 'the city' today and ended up getting 3 games for 15$, more my price range right now haha.

I picked up:

MLB 2K7 for 360 (have never owned a full fledged baseball game before, couldn't pass up the price)
NHL 07 for 360 (only other sport i follow beyond baseball, and i LOVE hockey video games)
Rainbox Six for Dreamcast (played this to death on the PC when it came out. One of my all time favorites, curious how the console version will be compared.)

So i rented operation flashpoint right now and WOW, this is the most realistic army game ive ever seen. Everything from the balistics, to calling in fire missions, and most importantly how you die 10 times per level since it only takes like 1 bullet to kil you.


Really this could even be usefull as a training tool it's that realistic. Im very impressed.

I started MMORPGS with EverQuest back in '02 and played pretty much every big name MMO that's been released since then. Right now I'm waiting on FFXIV and Star Wars: TOR to be released. I don't think FF is going to be one I'll play a whole lot, but there's nothing that I'm playing right now and I'll need something to hold me over til SW:TOR
