Dead Space was pretty good. I never got around to finishing it though. I should pick it back up.

I recently picked up Fallout 3. I saw it at a local used game/movie/book store for only $10. I've always wanted to play it now I can.
I'm screwed though. Somewhere along the way, I lost my pistol and BB gun. Now all I have is 1 frag grenade and my fists. All I can do is get my ass kicked.

I had Dead Space. I only played a few minutes of it, and then I got lost and didn't know where to go, so I gave up.
Fallout 3 is a great game. I never finished it, but I remember playing that one for hours... I'm going to have to pick up that game one of these days (that one, and Fallout: New Vegas)Words of Wisdom

I agree for the most part. Nothing has come close to Silent Hill 2 and the original Resident Evil. However, I found myself completely indulged in Dead Space. I picked up Dead Space 2 but I haven't played it yet so I can't say anything on its behalf. In all honesty, Dead Space was probably the best survival horror game I've played in years, I had a lot of fun playing it. If you haven't already, check it out.Originally posted by Connavar View Post

If you run out of ammo, you can also attack with just your fists, just make sure to use vats when possible to make sure the punches connect. The hardest part about fallout is that you are constantly in a state of NO AMMO. Fallout:new vegas is even worse, but it adds to the atmosphere of living after the apocalypse.Comment

alan wake isn't too bad, it actually comes closer to a classic survival horror game than RE has been in years.. practice ammo conservation and those " hmm, i should most likely just run away and fight later" tacticComment

im playing castlevania lords of shadow still. its cool but its so hard.
i never encountered ammo problems in fallout, i always use my fists to kill shit. makes you feel manly.
also playing bowsers inside story on my ds. its cool.
