Well. Getting the PS3 tuesday. Any games that you all would recommend ?

Just got Crysis on Friday, game is amazing! The graphics and gameplay are top notch. The multiplayer is good but like with all new FPS multiplayers I get bored of playing since it's like 5 levels and all you do is slowly unlock new scopes and stuff, gets old. But the single player campaign is HELLA long, a rare occurence in FPS games nowadays. Totally worth the money!

This is exactly what I've been waiting to hear to justify purchasing it.

The Uncharted series is really good. MGS: 4 is a must own. God of War 3 as well.

I don't own one but my friends/family have one. . . These are in no particular order. . .

God of War 3 (Defs)
Gran Turismo 5 (If you're into driving games)
Killzone 3 (Have not played, looks awesome though especially if you have a 3D TV)
Portal 2 (I know it's not PS3 restricted AND not out yet but take advantage of free online play. And it's a wickid game)
Demons Souls (Very, VERY hard RPG game. I didn't play it as much as the other games but when I get a PS3 I will definately buy it and (try) to complete)
Red Dead Redemption (Also have not played but I think any one who has says they love it)
Resistance 1 & 2 (to prepare for . . . )
Resistance 3 (Also not out yet)

That's all I can really think of right now without knowing so much about what games you prefer but I'm sure you already have some in mind.

Yah I bought it on a whim and am glad. I only play single player and this game has a crazy long single player (at least according to the guy at the desk), so I bought it. It's been 3 straight days almost and i'm not anywhere near done, it's beautifull, much better than most FPS's on the market, the look and feel of it is flawless and the actual gameplay is great too. I say it's worth it, and multiplayer is as good as cal of duty of battlefield 2 or any of the others.

EDIT: Would replay the single player campaign it's very detailed and the best part is this is an open world FPS so you can really add some strategy, it's not on rails for the most part.

Borderlands has to be my favourite game of 2010, I cant believe I forgot to mention it before.

I would also recommend Dead Space 1 & 2. They have to be, by far, the scariest games I have played to this day.

I've been switching back and forth between Fallout 3 and Borderlands since last night. Just broke into Demon's Souls around midday today. So far I'm digging em. I honestly haven't had this much fun on a system in awhile haha. I was looking at Dead Space when I went in, but they would have put me over my limit. If this interview goes well Those 2 and the headset will be coming out of my first paycheck. Not to mention the graphics compared to the ps2. I'm in love.

Haha, yeah. I have an Xbox 360 myself and am still happy with it, but I really want a PS3 now aswel. Odds are I will get one, then a new console will come out and they'll stop making games for my platforms . I'm into my backwards compatible games right now. Ordered Hercules on PS1 on Ebay, Excited!!!!
