he was more sages whippin boy. not so much anymore. xobe has only posted a couple times in like the last year.

i didnt really think mass effect 2 was any shorter than the first. both were awesome, but i liked mass effect 2 way more.

i used to be all about pc gaming around the time starcraft and diablo 2 came out. i loved those games. other than that ive never really had a pc i could play newer games on. so i switched to just console gaming.

bioshocks pretty sweet, but i didnt really get into the first one that much, never finished it, and now ill probably never play the second game.

and sgreger yeah i have dragon age. i really like it though. i played through it once, and just started playing it through a second time. bioware and bethesda can do no wrong by me.

I was always a consoler too...except back in the days of SNES and Genesis, lol. Beyond that I always took time to pick up an aging PS1 and PS2, but only for the Final Fantasy series and, for a stint, Grand Turismo 2 and 4. I'll probably pick up a PS3 when they're going for under a hundred - I figure by then both FFXIII and XIV, or whatever sequel isn't a stupid MMO after that, should be out. I miss Uematsu's music, but they're still a great series.

nobuo uematsu is a true artist. an arteest.

i never had an SNES, and i feel it was the major failing of my childhood. its the only nintendo console other than a wii that i havent at one time owned. and it had all the coolest games! games ive played on emulators and friends consoles that ill never appreciate as much as the kids that had the damn console around the time i shouldve had it! i even had a virtual boy. i think i still do. mario clash was so awesome.

I dunno, I literally beat mass effect two in like 2 or 3 days whereas the first one seemed to take ages. The second one was better though. I really like the ME franchise, as I love RPG's.

Speaking of which, I got a little more into Dragons Age:Origins and have decided I like it. A lot of item management but now that I get the controlls better and have gained some stats, I think it's a pretty cool game. But I mean it's so limited, you can't walk up or donw hills, there's all these invisible walls at every turn, and you can't even swim! It's pretty linear for an RPG but it's still fun and the storyline is pretty good. I also like how you cna play any of 4 characters. All in all it's my new game i'm playing and i'll probably beat it before I start playing anything else. RPG's are my bread and butter.

I've been really into Just Cause 2 lately. I loved the first one, and this new one is really cool.

Yah i just beat it. Game is awesome, way better than the first one. The grappling hook and the extra points for blowing shit up was a nice touch. Now I am trying to get to 100% completion, but after 2 weeks of playing and beating the entire game and all missions, i'm only at 38%.

The Lost island is hidden in Just Cause 2, along with the hatch and everything.

Oh i didn't know that was the LOST island since I don't watch the show. It's one of the missions you have to go on. Sucks you can only get inside the hatch with the PC hack though.

yeah dragon age is pretty linear. but its a spiritual successor to baldurs gate. and i think they did a pretty good job with it. its not the most revolutionary game, but its fun.

After yet another night of playing it I am more addicted. Still too glitchy, and it takes forever to loot the enemies (and half the time I just accidentally start a convo with one of my team members who is standing too close to the bodies).

But now that I am leveling up it's getting better. The story is great! I am in the underground dwarven city right now.

Well, as much as it pains me to say, i may be done with the 360. I finally got a chance to call them about getting it repaired and they are trying to tell me my warranty is expired when the contract i have in my hands has an expiration date of May 16, 2010. Now sitting on hold for about 10 minutes as she 'tries to find the information and talk to superiors'. Hopefully its just a simple error where its not showing up to my account. If they will not honor it, i might be done with it. Despite all the great games and everything i love about the 360, this whole thing could put an end to it. Just needed to vent, its irritating me lol.

I will probably do the same thing, its just frustrating that it's even a concern. I miss the reliability of the older consoles. I always heard stories about their customer service but this was the first time it affected me. After about an hour, 3 different people, 2 indian ladies who couldnt understand me and vice versa, and one "escalation specialist" they sent me a shipping label. So hopefully it's taken care of for a while.
