I only played it for a few hours, . First of all, IT IS NOT FALLOUT 3 WITH ZOMBIES as IGN put it. IGN and anyone else who says this clearly did not play fallout 3.

That being said, here's how it went: At first I was like "meh it's kind of like borderlands but with zombies". It's mainly fetch missions where you get your quest on one side of the map, then go to the other side of the map to fetch it whilst slaying Zombies on the way there. This was kind of dissapointing at first, but i'll tell you I stayed up till 1 am playing it and was like "**** just one more, just one more". It actually grew on me quite a bit.

Leveling is good and you have a skill tree you can use to upgrade your various attributes and gain new skills etc, most of the weapons are melee weapons, though guns do exist, and overall I would say the game is worth the money. Keep in mind that I am still on the first level pretty much so I havn't really gotten a chance to see the whole game.

It plays sort of like borderlands, but with zombies. FPS, vehicles, points fly out of enemies as you kill them, you spend it on a skill tree, and lots of fetch missions, so same basic concept as borderlands. I'll leave it at that. Worth the money, but nothing too special. It's best played co-op, though I hate playing co-op in games. Would recommend to those who liked borderlands. (Note: is not quite as good as borderlands though).
Sounds good, ill have to give it a try. Is it split screen co-op. or just online?

Online only, just like borderlands (group of 4 people can play co-op), no split screen.

One of the saddest things in gaming is that they've done away with the split screen multiplayer. I used to play splitscreen on a 25 inch television, and now that I have this giant 60 in flatscreen the game world has gotten rid of split screen now that I finally have enough room...

I completely agree! I love split screen. Wish more games had it.

I havn't played TFC2 in a long time but the videos look awesome! Great production quality and good music.

Okay, I was on XBLA browsing the indie games and noticed this game called "Total Miner". It is an exact clone of Minecraft but with several improvements. Personally I prefer it over minecraft now, the only thng it's missing is minecarts and redstone, but it has new stuff like ropes and other great features.

Anyways, it's $3 and you can play minecraft on your xbox, totally worth it. I think it's better also because it has lots of dungeons and caves and there are objectives to the game etc (finding crafting recipes, seeing how deep you can get etc). I sunk several hours into it already and I would highly recommend this to anyone who liked minecraft.

So I bought Dark Souls for 360 yesterday. It's predecessor Demon Soul was a big hit and has a strong following so I figure i'd check it out while I wait for Skyrim.

Pretty much it's a dungeon crawler style RPG, 3rd person etc. A 3d diablo if you will, nothing like Oblivion. Anyways, this game is billed as the hardest xbox game of all time (it's predecessor was one of the hardest as well), and I have to say that I agree with the label. I spent 4 hours last night and 2 of those wre just trying to get past the tutorial. The game is so hardcore that you CANNOT EVEN PAUSE THE GAME, literally, there is no way to pause and all item management is done on the screen while battling etc. It's ****ing insane how hard this game is. It's extra rewarding when you beat the epic dragons etc but jesus christ this game is kicking my ass. It's allegedly only for the real seasoned gamers as they explicitly stated they wouldn't put an easy mode or anything so that casual gamer can enjoy, it's all hard mode all the time.

Anyways, you die like 1,000 times in every level and lose all of your progress every time you do, and the only way to get your health back up is to rest at these checkpoints, but if you do that it RESPAWNS EVERY ENEMY, therefore you have to make the choice of whether it's a good idea to heal and respawn all the enemies or to just push on to the next area.

Anyways, would recommend, but only for the very patient, elite gamers who are really into playing Xbox and dungeon crawlers in particular.Hopefully after today I can get at least halfway through the 1st level :/

Ok **** dark souls. It so hard it's not even playable. I sent four hours today just trying to get from one checkpoint to the next. In 4 hours I didn't progress at all. It was all spent trying to get 500 feet in front of where I started. Note this is the first level after the tutorial. I died like 100 times and right as I finally made it ten feet they throw a ****ing boss dragon at me, I have no life of course so it kills me with one swing. Speaking of which, almost every enemy kills you with one or two hits. this is the hardest game ever made and I've been a gamer for 20 ****ing years.

Only buy this game if your a complete masochistic and have mucho time on your hands. I don't have a lot of time to game and I can't spend an entire evening just trying to make it one checkpoint ahead, I mean ****ing Christ it makes no sense, it's just too hard. Great game but not playable due to the difficulty. Imagine if your playing diablo and every checkpoint is like playing the final boss of the game, every character is the boss and you start out with no life. That is what this game is like.
