I'm broke so it's a Rainier and Pabst night for me. Just got done jaamo'ing with bakerbarber and he's drunk as ****. Listening to all 3 versions of "Green Manalishi" that I have... Fleetwood Mack, Judas Priest, and the best one yet, MELVINS. Yes.

I haven't seen the double dog, but noted. Have you had the snake dog? That might just be my favorite beer. The 7.1 abv and high ibu's provide a welcomed kick to the teeth, also excellent citrus undertones. I've only seen it at specialty shops until recently, where I found it at lowes foods. Fantastic.

Daruckis! I'm convinced you're the man. I adore the melvins. Got to see them a couple months ago with dale crover on drums, just the 3 of them. That guy and danny cary of Tool are the best drummers currently playing IMO. For one song they had 5 drummers on stage at once. Love those guys.

EDIT: go further back into the 80s though. Stoner Witch is great, but Houdini is the real gem.

Houdini is good, I got to see them play that in its entirety with trevor dunn on bass. The neat thing about melvins is all the shows I've seen have been somewhat different. I've seen them play with fantomas in a big band, another show with a ton of improv, and a show where they played all their greatest hits opening for tomahawk. They're just always on tour.

The Melvins are good. So I'm drinking some Bud Select. I haven't met anyone else who drinks this brew. It's my cheap beer.

my beer budget equates to like 150-200 a month. I chain snus and drink. **** those cheap domestic beers. I've experimented and found that it's much more economical to invest in a good beer, then to chug some rice brewed crap that makes you feel like shit the next day and not even get a good buzz on.
