I ended up not drinking as much as I wanted last night. I just got tired

Well, the neighbors had a loud party and I had to call the cops out here 3 different times last night. The last time they had the nerve to plug a spot-light in and shine it through our bedroom window. They were obviously mad over the $300 fine they got for playing loud music at 1am.

My husband went out and took the lamp and told them to stfu, well they called the cops and pressed theft charges on him for removing the lamp that was shining deliberately in our bedroom.

Needless to say it was a long bad night and here I am up at 6:20am with 3 demanding kids when all I want to do is sleep. LOL

      I feel your pain.....

I had three demanding kids up at 6.30 this morning (boys 9,6 & 5), so I know what that's like.

No fights with neighbours, spotlights or cops though.

To put this message back on topic, I'm currently brewing beer!

I'm making a US style IPA.....similar to a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale....lots of Chinook, Centennial and Simcoe hops and about 5.5% alcohol.

          Should be good.....

I drank quite a bit last night, but woke up about 8:30am feeling fine. Stayed up till 3am. It gets late like that, and tiredness overtakes any drunk I might have. I really like hanging out with my buddy, but he is a night owl, and I am not. He didn't even get here till after 10pm, and that's when I usually go to bed.

              This is the life.

              Felling pretty good BTW!

I'm off work tomorrow, so I could drink tonight, I don't know why, but I have a personal rule, that I don't drink on work nights, but I just don't feel like it today.

Every night for me is a work night and most every night I drink, just my rule.

My 2nd bottle of ice cold Miller Lite and salted peanuts to go with. I'm not much of a big brand light beer guy anymore, but I still enjoy my Miller Lite. I just ate all my peanuts and I have no more  . How many beer drinkers here would agree with me in saying that beer is astronomically better out of a bottle as compared to a stinkin aluminum can?

I would never turn down a Miller Lite and also buy it or something similar if at a sports game/concert but usually stick with imports.

Heineken tall boys have been my thing for the past three months. I also like the Canadian Labatts. East Euro lagers are my favorite though but hard to find.

Brewed my first time ever this past weekend but dont have high hopes. It was a European Pilsner kit with lager yeast. I have a cold room in the basement wich is 54 degrees or colder so it will be interesting to see if something happens.
