Eh, I don't get the whole DMB thing. In general I'm not a fan of bands named after their frontman, seems kind of...lame.

But with names like those guys have, how could you NOT use them? I mean Thorogood? Marley? Hendrix?
FAR cooler than Matthews. I mean to me that kinda sounds like the Bill Smith band or something. Notice too that Bob Marley had the Wailers, Jimi the Experience, George the Destroyers, etc. etc. But no, Dave just has his Band. Again, meh.

I love all kinds of music... I am not sure how the **** I can go from listening to Bad Brains to Matt Costa but I keep an open ear to everything. I love everything Lamb of God to Junior Kimbrough.

So the night before I stayed up late with the new girlfriend, tried to get 20mins of sleep before the show as I had been drinking since noon. Well either the alarm didn't go off, or I woke up and shut it off. Woke up 30mins late to the show and my friend left with someone else. I dig Dave, and was real stoked about the new album... there is just something real solemn about it that I like alot.
