    Food Network.

I can't stop watching it. And every time I watch it, I get hungry.

Alton Brown is a mastermind of all things food.

Anyone else love the Food Network?

The Food Network is very useful and entertaining, though I must point out a few things: Rachael Ray is a bitch, The Neelys need to get a room, Bobby Flay is an asshole, Sandra Lee is an alcoholic, Tyler Florence is mediocre, Giada is probably bulemic and would be a nobody if not for her film director grandpapa, Ina Garten is a snooty bitch who spends most of her time entertaining her gay friends from Sag Harbor and Nantucket, and she can't seem to own enough denim shirts. Alton Brown is probably the smartest guy on the whole network and you can see it in his eyes that he wishes he didn't have to rank next to those bags of hot air.

Check out the blog Food Network Humor. Constant laughs!

I don't watch too much Food Network, but I love cooking. I frequent a couple of cooking forums when I'm not posting here...

Snusophile-I died from laughter at your post, especially the part about Ina, who I can't stand, lol. I am a Food Network junkie, watch it constantly, and this was spot on!

Having said that I do get a lot of useful recipes and tips from the network. Whenever I can't decide what to make for dinner I go to their website. Despite laughing at the above, I do like Rachel and Giada recipes, I've tried some and they came out quite well. I also really like SunnyAnderson and Anne Burrell. Plus Ace of Cakes is fun to watch.

Chef Ramses is the biggest phony in the business.

Haha, yeah above all the phonies there are good recipes (YUMMO!). I left out an honorable mention such as Guy Fieri (LAME!) and his disgusting bowling shirts. I'm more of a purist when it comes to cooking, I've been at it since a very young age and Julia Child ranks above anyone on TV these days. She really was amazing, and one of her best bits of advice was to never fear any recipe!
