I post too much

So, as I have mentioned here before, I also make my home on a motorcycle forum as well (www.alternativecrusiers.com). I post there historically even more than here, have close to 8000 posts there in the same time I have been on Snuson, only the Admin guy has more posts than me.

And I play a very similar role there as I do here. I am a huge cheerleader for the things I like, and generally help out the newbies. I also make it a point of pride to be the first person to welcome a new member, love pissing off our Admin as he used to be the guy that was always first. Yet I spend more time there now than even he does.

So today, new guy from Iceland, I welcome him as usual. An hour later Bill, the Admin guy, welcomes him too and posts a note for me...

"Sage....Snuson??"

Seems, I welcomed him to Snuson instead of ACD. Can't even remember what forum you are posting on??? Maybe time for a break. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Nah, you don't post too much. I had over 34,000 posts on another forum before it went kaboom (damned hackers!). They started over from scratch and I'm up to 3268 already.

i have something like 14,000 posts over at the smart people's forum, but since the crash it reads like 3,000 or something. they've banned me 3 times so i'm on thin ice and watch my p's and q's.

the only reason they allow me is because i make them laugh.

It's in the eye of the beholder, I guess.......Sage, you're a straight noob compared to some of the posters on other forums I frequent. :lol: On some of the automotive boards, there are people who have managed to rack up over 10,000 posts in less than six months time; I don't even see how that is mathematically possible!

Funny thing is, someone on those boards will ask a question, followed by all of the 10 bajillion-post people kicking each other in the nuts over the answer......and then some guy who's been a member for years and has 20 posts will come in randomly and give a clear, concise, and correct answer......then disappear again. :wink:

Good question. I was asking about PP in another thread...

Badfish question was answered on another thread yesterday. The fishies had just been spending so much time online, a few things kinda fell through. So they are dealing wth home issues right now, hopefully, we see them again soon.

PP, I don't know.
