    New To The Site

    Hello Everyone!

I'm new to this forum, but I've been using snus on and off for about 18 months. Seems like a nice place with a great group of people here, so I thought I'd participate.

I'm from Lafayette, Louisiana USA, that's Cajun country deep in South Louisiana. As I said before I've been using snus for about 18 months. I use portions at work (office enviroment) and loose at home. My favorite snus are General Loose, Skruf Stark Loose, Göteborgs Rapé loose and portions, Skruf Tranbar portions. Those are my favorites, but I've tried and enjoyed a lot of the others.

I smoked for many years in the military, decided to quit one day and went to american dips (Skoal, Cope, etc), found a certain "other" site dedicated to dipping and made a good friend that introduced me to snus. Haven't looked back since, haha, although I did still dip the american stuff. I am now commited to using snus full time, just have to keep that supply in the freezer at good levels!

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and hopefully i can contribute to the forum.

    Thanks!

Welcome aboard! Our little snus community is growing bigger by the day, it seems. I've gotta say, man, you've got my mouth watering for some tasty Cajun cooking now

^ Me too Zero. My brother lived in Lafayette for around five years, and really got me hooked on Cajun food. I just wish there was decent Cajun food around somewhere, so I didn't have to cook it myself.

Cooking is a great skill, though. It doesn't take much practice to be able to cook as well or better than most places you could or would regularly afford to eat at (unless you're way richer than me, of course!)

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Yes, I guess we are kinda famous for our cajun cooking, which is fine by me! Just wish my waistline agreed hahaha

              sir john,

There aren't too many true french folks around anymore, although 90% of the people around here have french last names. If you get out into the country, which is more where I'm originally from, there are more french speakers. Hell, my grandparents couldn't even speak english. But sadly somewhere along the way, the art is being lost.
