the name of this one type of tape? I remember reading about this tape that was super strong, and never came off. The site I was reading about it on mentioned the Air Force or some branch of the military using it for temporary repairs on planes/boats if they only needed something to hold together for a short trip to do a proper repair. The inner geek in me really wants to buy some, but I can't think of the name of it. I do remember it was really expensive, like $20 a roll. Still, I want. Can anybody help me?
Does anyone know...

I think it's called 200mph tape, or something like that. I've haven't seen a reference to it in years though.
Edit:
100mph tape, aka duct tape. See this...

I have several rolls here from the military from when I went down for hurricane andrew years ago. They called it 100 mph tape too. Its some nasty stuff.
FYI, I wasn't in the military, I was in charge of all the charitable organizations, Red Cross, Salvation Army, etc. and worked out of city hall in Homestead with the military. We needed to do alot of trading for supplies and I ended up bringing some of that tape home.Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......
I've been wrong lots of times. Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Duct tape is also called "Riggers Tape", "100-MPH tape", or "Hurricane Tape" in the military - a name that comes from the use of a specific variety of duct-tape that was supposed to hold up to 100mph winds.
