I never was that deep into anime, but I still like some of the older ones; Akira, Fist of the North Star, etc.
I like some of the newer ones they play on Adult Swim, but it's hard to watch the series-oriented animes without starting at the beginning. Full Metal Alchemist is good; I also like Bleach, Inuyasha and Cowboy Bebop.Comment

I'm sure it will come off as rather cliche-ist but my oldest son and I spent a summer and watched fan subs of Dragonball, DBZ and DB GT. One of the best summers I ever had
It was a chore but we got through 500+ episodes!

Never cared for it. My sister on the other hand is obsessed. She's learned how to speak Japanese fluently by watching them. Now my two year old watches Sailor Moon because of my sister. As if I didn't get enough of it growing up.Comment
