Console-wise, SNES was probably my favorite.....good graphics at the time, price was decent, and a shat-ton of games to choose from.

The close second? 3DO. :P Yes, it was stupid overpriced and the games were obscure, but it was the coolest thing around when it came out (FMV? In a video game?? Sweet!). I don't bother dragging out the SNES since I have all of the games emulated, but I still hook up the 3DO every once in a while to bring back memories. 8)

The orriginal game boy that looks like a cinderblock first of all.

        Then sega genesis.

What ever happened to dreamscape or whtever it was called. How come some platforms never launched to their full potential and fell by the wayside? Like Sega CD?

You forgot about golden eye! Between mario cart, WWF wrestling games and goldeneye the N64 claimed at least a full year of my life in play time. I think it was well spent.

the sega dreamcast is actually a super sweet system. resident evil code veronica, shenmue, lotsa good stuff. i believe it was pretty popular too. but it only came out a year before the ps2, which was its major downfall. also if you were to pick up a dreamcast today and mod it, you can get all kinds of emulators and roms on it.

Holy hell, I never anyone else that had a 3DO. Sweet.

And i agree about the Dreamcast, just a terrible launch time for it. But it's got a good cult following I believe.

Yah the dreamcast was a swet system. I remember there was some game where you could fly around freely in it and I thought it was super-sweet but my parents couldnt afford it at the time.

Sad to see what could have been a good console go away but now the market is dominated by Xbox and Playstaion.

Nintendo wii is cool and great for kids, I personally don't like it, but I don't think we will see a whole lot of sequels to that system in the future.

Meanwhile xbox and ps are trying their hardest to even turn a profit. They have se tthe standard so high that they screwed themselves.

But that works out great for me the consumer! So all is well.

I just bought COD WAW, i know im behind the curve but that game is awesome.

There are a few really good wii games: Smash Bros Brawl, Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart. All sequels to franchises, but all good.

I heard the Zelda game is quite brilliant as well.

its fun but the control get annoying after a while swinging the wiimote around thankfuly the wii plays gamecube games. theres a zelda collection disk that pops up on ebay that has allmost all the zelda games definaly worth getting.

I've talked to people who have mentioned playing one once or twice, but I have honestly never met anyone else who actually owned one, let alone still has it.

I have roughly half of the games produced for it......an Incredible Universe went out of business in town years ago, and they had marked all of the games down to 99 cents. These were games that normally cost upwards to 60 - 70 bucks, so I was pretty stoked.

Of course, after playing them, I realized that there was no way in hell I would have paid full price for any of them. :P Aside from retarded pricing, piss-poor game licensing is what ultimately killed the 3DO.

One of the only games I remember having for the 3DO was Super Street Fighter II Turbo. And one with a gecko...?

I might have to dig that cumbersome box outta storage.

I remember I got a DreamCast the day it came out, and I used it to get on the internet more so than playing games, because I could surf the web on my computer. I was lazy.
