I can understand how they could remake Friday the 13th. But NOT A Nightmare on Elm Street. If it's not Robert England, it's not Freddy.

If they wanna remake movies, they should remake old old movies, like Metropolis. But the film industry today, IMO, is crap for the most part, and everything is just a CGI effects spectacle.

Exactly. Like I would love a Gremlins 3. Gremlins is the greatest movie of all time!! But if they did it now, it would be CGI. That would suck. I miss the 80's-90's puppet/cheap special effects.

Robert Englund actually approved this guy. Apparently Michael Bay has been in touch with him alot throughout the filming.

Ok, most remakes suck. Probably 90% of them. But I give them all a chance before I make a decision. This movie looks promising.

Approved or not, it just won't be the same. I'll probably see it anyway, so I can Comic Book Guy it all the way through. I'm a huge Elm Street fan. I love horror.

                    HEY VEGAN!!

If you like cheap and cheesey effects. Need to watch old Dr. Who's from late 60's and the 70's. Once in a while you can see the guy's feet inside the Dalek. 8)

Man, I just got so freaking super excited......until you guys said Robert Englund won't be in it. Englund IS Freddy Kruger. Freddy is THE greates character ever created! I'm an absolute Nightmare on Elm Street freak! I have actually loved watching them since as far back as I can remember, like 4-5 years old. Like Chad, Im gonna bite my tongue until I see it, and I really hope it does the original justice. I'm just extremely bummed that Englund wont be giving it another go.....
