Bah! Don't listen to the haters. :P Jeeps are fun, and Cherokees are fairly cheap to maintain.
My ex bought an 87 with the intention of learning how to drive stick; that didn't happen, so I drove it while she drove my car until I could sell it. I can honestly say that it was a blast to drive.......I am used to lowered cars, and it was great to not give a damn about speed bumps, curbs, dips, etc. Not to mention being able to see up and over traffic. 4.0L's are decently peppy engines, as well. 8)

I have 158k on mine, and other than the routine stuff, all I've had to put in it is a fuel pump, and a water pump. I'm still on the original clutch :^D
It's been one of the most reliable cars I've ever had :^)
Granted, mines not one of those models, but I have a 2004 Jeep liberty with about 240k miles on it. Other than some minor stuff this year, it's been pretty solid!

As I'm the kind of guy who likes off topic, I thought I'd open a thread where you can post some weird, sad, funny and important news from your country,...
