      <...HUGE Comic nerd 8)

Im right there with most long time fans that started collecting in the '60/'70 as far as the movies go, opinion wise.

Loved the new Spidey's. '90s Batmans were the sux. Darknight+ is Batman done RIGHT. X-Men were done as well as they could of been considering limitations. Ghost Rider made me puke. Then puke some more. Iron Man rocked...how f'n perfect is Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark ?! Daredevil was just -insert PC word for abortion here-.

Comic I most want to be seen done as a movie: Preacher (Garth Ennis is a GOD)...but to honestly do it justice it would have to be animated.

My good friend has owned a comic store since I was a kid. Comics played a large part in my growing up and are some of my most treasured memories. It's sometimes hard to watch 20+ years of story line condensed down to 120m on film..but eh...at least they keep getting better.

Oh...the Batman movie with Adam West...exploding shark? ****'n'A yeah that movie is the shit

Yeah, we've been hearing that for a while now too. My fear is that it will be very hard to tell that story with the super detailed graphic violence...I mean, the dog and Herr Starr's "member". Not to mention the uproar from Catholics about how the bloodline of Jesus is portrayed as inbred, drooling, poop flinging mornons. *Note: I am a lifelong, church going (several times a week even), former altar boy, very involved with my parish, Roman Catholic....but I have an open mind and dont have an issue with things like that...but you know, lots of my brethren arent so open minded.

Preacher means a lot to me. You know how some books come along at a special time in ones life and make a lasting impression on the psyche..Preacher is one of those for me. So anything less tham a stellar trasnlation to film will make me cry probably. Or mabey I over think things

Chad, I feel late to the party. I just watched past the credits on Iron Man and saw the cameo you talked of...

"I'm here to talk to you about the Avenger Initiative"...badass.

(Beginning of the Hulk at 2:25, the director confirmed that this is Captain America and his shield.)
There are better videos of this, but this highlights those 2 points.

One of my all time favorite movies (as if you couldn't tell from my icon).

I've heard there is a Deadpool movie in the works, which I think could be totally bad ass if they do it right. As long as they don't make him anything like the abomination they put together for the Wolverine movie.

Also really looking forward to the Ironman sequel.

Deadpool in that movie was a joke. The shame!!!!!

NOW THIS looks promising. Not a comic movie. But scenes open to be interpreted and all pieced together in the end? Sounds cool. And the trailer looks cool.

Garth Ennis is God. However they've already butchered his work with the Thomas Jane "Punisher". Also, as a huge Deadpool fan I am excited; but not convinced just by Ryan Reynolds saying it's going to be more like the comic character.[/u]
