If, like Chad, you're interested in getting a BM42, I suggest you get one NOW. They're out of production (EDIT: According to the BM website, they DO still make them, not sure which is accurate), not sure if Benchmade will bring them back. So chances are, the prices will keep going up.
As for which my favorite folder is... I'd have to go with the Benchmande Griptilian. It's neither the prettiest nor the best knife I own, but it's the one I use most. If I were to go on "coolness" only, I'd have to pick the Infidel though. SOG TAC Auto (correct name escapes me atm) is a nice second in coolness.

As for Spyderco, I can't fault them really, I have a milltary and it's a very nice knife, but despite being functional and well-made, I just can't get over the goofy looks that most Spydercos have.
I'd like to take the opportunity to recommend both of these guys:
Nutnfancy: http://www.youtube.com/user/nutnfancy?blend=1&ob=4
Cutlerylover: http://www.youtube.com/user/cutlerylover?blend=1&ob=4
Both of these guys do some excellent knife-reviews and I can recommend most of their videos on other subjects (guns, flashlights and other tactical gear).

Can you make a canned Spam for me? I like that kind of knife.
