    suggestions

    so im building a home recording studio...i have alot of software and all that good stuff plus im gettin the whole protools package next time i get some money...im to lazy to goole the sound proofing materials needed...any ideas

    I used a shit load of carpet from an old school, and some foam rubber shit (also i torn out of an old school) tack that shit as nicely as possible on the walls foam first then carpet. . Works great but smells horrible! I have herd of people using egg cartons, not sure if they work or not.

    Protools?? rich mother ****er! i have what used to be my 2 servers running a shitload of software plus a roland workstation, and my line6 spider III jam amp.

      far from it just gonna get myself a late(maybe only) birthday present when i get my left over grant money in january

      probably gonna get it used if i can right now im mainly using acid pro for recording and shit i have a studio mic from a friend and ive been using damn futon matress for sound proofing..

            I just have a Fostex 4-Track cassette recorder, mix it down, and make mp3s of the songs, and burn it on a disc.
