Definitely Republican here...very few conservative issues that I disagree with, except for them not wanting gay marriages. Although I'm not sure it should actually be called "marriage", they do need some sort of legal union that's legally recognized and as binding as a traditional marriage. It's just not right for a gay couple to be together for years, and then have one of them leave and take everything, including any children without giving the partner any way of getting any of their property back, custodial or visitation rights, etc.
