How the hell does torrents count as communism in action? If anything, they'd be usable as a prime example of capitalistic greed, where one person steals from another simply because they desired something, rather than having earned it.

Funny, that's the exact same argument that people use against socialism. We give the political spectrum a linear shape with left at one end, and right at the other. In reality it's more circular than linear.
