    Thank you.

So how hard is it to install and dual run Windows Vista and Ubuntu on a laptop?

i believe Ubunto has a built in manager for that. When you boot your computer you just select which one you want.

It's easy. Install Vista first, then Ubuntu. If you aren't familiar with Linux, it might be better to run it off the CD, or use the new wubi install to try it out. The CD is kind of pokey since you're running off a CD, but the wubi install was pretty nice the time I tried it. That sets up a kind of fake dual boot. You install it in Windows, and you can remove it from Windows also. You pick which O/S you want to load at startup, and you're in. If you want to change to the other O/S, you have to restart your machine.

It's a little slower than a real install, but it gives a good feel of what the O/S is really like without having to significantly change your system.

I love it. Ubuntu's my favorite distro, and it's shaping up to be the "standard" Linux. With 1 big distro, it's more likely to get corporate support for Linux. They can tailor the install for Ubuntu, and then it would be trivial to port it to other distros.

                  Please organize desktop.

Create folders for your documents, and all that other stuff you have just sitting around.

Do you have a bigger shot of that picture Sage? I like the colors, but I can't make out what it is.

All my art is <mostly> abstract. It is just about the colors, so thank you, what I like to hear.

It looks a little weird cause I have two monitors at different resolutions (the left one is widescreen).
