Put me down for Humanist. I prefer people to do the right thing cos it is the right thing to do, not cos they will go to hell if they don'.

We go to Catholic Church but I really like Paramahansa Yogananda and read his works as much as I can. His book "Autobiography of a Yogi" will definitely change your life. I have also visited Ananda Village in Nevada City and am in love with that place!

I'm a traditional, Calvinist Christian and belong to a conservative Presbyterian denomination.

          And a pyramid scheme.

Religious faith is believing something that (deep inside) you know isn't true. I don't consider myself anything and reject the terms atheist, agnostic and humanist.

Scientology is a religion as much as any of them are. The one I would argue most as to not be, is Islam. But one can argue what religion even means, to me, it's a philosphy, and path that addresses man as a spiritual eternal beings, and addresses the afterlife.

Well, I have been an Athiest for a while. I just, never thought it was right for people to pray before they eat, and thank 'God' for it. I think people should be praising themselves for their own hard work. YOU put the food on the table, because of YOUR own effort to go to your job that YOU earned. That applies for many other things 'praised' for as well.

HOWEVER! I do want to believe there was some form of an intellegent being back them. How else were the pyramids made to such perfection?
Everyone should watch the documentary on The History Channel called Ancient Aliens. Very eye opening.

Also, I decided to smoke DMT for the first time, and had a breakthrough. There definitely seems to be something else out there.

Or maybe just something else inside of us.

I believe we are God, as God is collectively ALL.

Atheist. My whole life. Used to be a bit more confrontational about it, then I got tired of discussing it all the time. I don't think about the (non)existence of god in my day to day life, it just doesn't occur to me unless someone wants to talk about it.

This I agree with. A cult's a cult. They all started at some time.

The one I would argue most as to not be, is Islam.
This I disagree with, Islam isn't that much different from Christianity or Judaism. Some of the details change, but it's the same old shit.

But one can argue what religion even means, to me, it's a philosphy, and path that addresses man as a spiritual eternal beings, and addresses the afterlife.
This is more important than getting wrapped up in particulars. Religion is just a uniform people put on, and it only serves to divide. No uniform, no division....

Whether or not there is an afterlife, a man can still be spiritual.
I think that a person is inherently spiritual - that we feel some kind of otherly connection through our surroundings and within our selves.

What really bugs me though - we learn throughout our life and when we've got all the tools to deal with all that life throws at us - we die. . ?. What's the point in that?

I wouldn't short change our species. Granted, the majority of people you come across in day to day life are fairly dim, we as a species are capable of extraordinary accomplishments, i.e. the pyramids of ancient Egypt.

I do fairly enjoy that show, pretty entertaining.
