Went to the Dr. yesterday, and he gave me the good news...I have the H1N1!! I feel like I was hit by a truck. Send prayers/good thoughts at my wife so that she doesn't get it please.

By the way, we found out last week that it will be a boy!!!!! Due March 5th.

I have felt sick all day today. I've got most of the symptoms of H1N1...send some good karma my way. I'm eating raw garlic, drinking gallons of green tea, and hoping for the best.

A nurse friend of mine said that pretty much anyone that has the flu now has swine flu. The seasonal flu virus has yet to really hit. She also said that it is actually less severe then the normal flu except for teen agers and pregnant women. Our pediatrician doesn't even recommend the vaccine for toddlers unless we are expecting another child. Good luck.

I hadn't heard the eating garlic cloves thing before, does that work? How many should you eat?

Im still skeptical about the swine flu, I only kind worry fo rmy 7 month old daughter. My body is indestructable, and so is my wifes, but I havn't really heard about how it affects young children yet.

I know 80 children have died so far, 11 of them just last week. Kinda has me worried

My wife and 5 year old had it. Was pretty typical for a flu. Even in close contact I don't seem to catch it, any flu. I do drink that airborne stuff almost daily. I swear by vitaman c and d.
