lookit, we are getting some whom are not honest here. 2 passes have been betrayed at the end besides other exchanges. there are a few measly thieves in this wonderful collection of snus misfits, so i'm gonna propose something. i'm gonna propose that there is a Vetted thread that is a sticky. that is has the member's names that have proven their trust to this community. it is the list of honorable members that have proven they deserve the trust of the rest of us. lookit. remember that soldier who was serving our country in Afghanistan and needed snus? remember how this community responded? that is honor...

i know about new members needing to be trusted, hell, you people trusted me on box pass 2. but i think we need to know the members that have verified trust, in one spot, in one thread. it'll come in handy when trading and stuff. just a thought people...

Hmmm, I suggested this a long time ago and wondered why it hadn't already been done. :P But, I do know of 3 who are trustworthy, 4 if you count the missing BadFish. Qor, BigBuyer, and mlkramer are all good to deal with.

The problem with using a whitelist is the sheer size of it. Almost every one of us can be trusted, so that would be one very large topic :^D

I list good traders in my my sig to reinforce trust to the people I've personally dealt with. Every time I make a post someone will see who's been a good trader. Stickies tend to get overlooked, and if they're very comprehensive, won't get completely digested.

I'm more partial to a sticky with bad traders, listing all of their known information. Email address, real address, and real name. That way it would be more difficult to repeat scam by starting a new account. It also brings public shame on their name for whatever that's worth in a small forum like this :^D

I would also encourage caution, and due diligence on everybody's part. You can get a good feel for people by their posts here, and their general presence. I had misgivings about Misterspaghetti when he was AWOL for awhile. It wasn't really my place to affect the boxes progression, so I didn't say anything. In the future, and with box passes in particular, I'd specify that people can be dropped for any reason, or no reason whatsoever. If any member has a problem with a box pass participant they can state the reason why through PM to the others, and the person in question can be deleted from the roster if everyone(most) agree(s). It's not ideal, but if you're legit, maybe you should have been around more, or not done anything to arouse suspicion....

i say after everybody posts their trusted people somebody go back through the list and copy down each name then post it in a new thread and sticky that one

Don't feel bad, mine's not either :wink: But like some others, there's some that I've never had any trades with or bought anything from that I'd still trust in here...mainly what we'd call the "regulars" who post alot and seem trustworthy.

99% of us in here probably are honest people from what I've seen, but I'm still aware that there is that other 1% that lurks around. Just hope I never have to deal with one of them.
