I'm 22. I used American snuff for 4 and a 1/2 years. I've been a full-time snuser for about 4 months straight now, but I first discovered and tried it back in late 2006.

35- been snusing for a month. Used American snuff since about the age of 12 or 13. Smoked for a few years in my 20's. Quit tobacco completely for 3 years. When my newborn daughter was lifeflighted to the ICU last month, I started using COPE again. After I used the first can of Cope, I figured I had better order some real Snus. I discovered it in Stockholm in 1997-98 when I went to the University there.

Shrewd- I bleed purple brother! I just hope the management knows what they are doing. We have potential and with AD- anything is possible. But, WTF? Why have they not signed Matt Birk? My parents knew I smoked at that age but wouldn't let me smoke in front of them untill I turned 15. As long as I didn't burn the barn down. Smoked cigs and cigars for 43 years continuously.

I'm 52 and began snussing about a month ago. I quit smoking about 30 years ago, smoked from about 12-22 years of age. Maybe older, I forget. Then I did it on and off and finally believe around age 27 just stopped.

Now my parents are both on this drug called Aricept, my father for Dementia and my mother for some other Psych disorder. I found out that Nicotine acts like Aricept. I thought what I needed was another bad habit, so I started using snus and skoal etc.... Now I feel great! Its unbelievable... I am not as angry, I sleep better, I am losing weight. All benefits IMO. Now I have a Java Stonewall in my cheek and its really quite nice. I haven't even been drinking since I started. It actually seems to have replaced booze too! So, losing weight is that much easier. When I am hungry I snus. I really like it. I even feel guilty about it a bit... trying to get over that.
