I'd like to add "sodium" to that. Not the natural sodium within celery, but the gut inspiring sodium in microwave burritos. Salt + Sugar = bad news.

CORN! and wheat. These 2 things have created the bad health and obesity, diabetes, etc. Sugar also. And sodium doesn't help. But it's not fat, meat, or even calories.

Humans have lived off of meat and a mixture of greens forever, this is why we are able to digest both, and why we are omnivores. Even our teeth accomodate this. there is no evidence that we were meant to eat just veggies.

Also, meat is awesome. That is all.
Furthermore, I saw on NatGeo, History, or Discovery (can't recall which) that many evolutionary biologists/anthropologists theorize that beginning to cook and eat meat led to rapid (evolutionarily speaking) growth in the size and complexity of the human brain.

One interesting thng is the body must have fat and protein in the diet to live. It does not need carbohydrate. It is nonessential and has no RDA, unlike fat and protein.

That's because these are things your body needs for energy. You need a little carbs for energy, a little protien to keep those muscles strong and help recover after strenuous activiy, you need some sodium to help retain water in your body, and this goes for everything.

I have to say, I agree with whoever said sugar is the real killer here, especially high fructose corn syrup. I eat whever I want and never gain wait really but I almost never have anything with sugar in it. I can drink a 12 pack a night and eat nothing but microwave pizzas and be fine lol.

But a lot of people are like that. You need a little of everything so eat up, just cut back on the desert and youll be fine. And get some execise for God's sake.
