US and Snus

When was the snus first sold in the US ? Cause I haven't really heard of it until yesterday :P

I remember a couple of years ago when a member of SlipKnoT (which I loved back in the days) said that he had tested snus in sweden and loved it and have quit smoking. Me and my friends were so psyched about this:P I remember at a concert we had buyed a stock each which we throwed up on stage

Not sure when it first went into the US, but not more than a few years ago, I think. It would be all over Europe right now if it wasn't for the damned EU - they banned it for sale everywhere in Europe. Thank your politicians that they refused to let Sweden join the EU unless they were allowed an exemption to the snus ban!
