        a nagger
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Okay, I have a complaint to voice/whine about.

My day sucks for the following reasons:

At work I am doing my job on top of covering for 2 other people who will be out for the next 4 months, working late and not taking lunch breaks, meanwhile worrying about being terminated at every second. Speaking of breaks, my card was just declined so I have nothing to eat. I brought a tin of snus to work today that turned out to only have 2 portions left in it. My babysitter crapped out on me so I now have to drive 6 hours a day to and from San Francisco to drop my daughter off at her grandma's house because my wife has to work a 10 hour day, 5 days a week for 400$ per month (just to cover the cost of babysitting).

After no food, 6 hours of driving, and an extremely stressfull workload... my wife has somehow convinced me to stop drinking because it is causing problems at home, so when I go home tonight I will not be able to drink a beer and relax.

The good news? I just bought Dragon's Age: Origins. So win win.

2009 has not been a good year. Or at least not the latter half of it...

In August, the central air conditioning broke down twice and it took several days to get it fixed the second time. Doesn't sound like a big deal? You might think otherwise if it was 120 degrees in your house (110 outside) and you worked from home. Wound up having to buy a couple of window units to survive, but that meant paying the rent late for the first time in my life. To make matters worse, the landlord tried to blame us for somehow causing a massive coolant leak by allowing a few (as in three or four) feathers to get into the grate around the outside unit.

Then I got the flu... meanwhile, the car was broken into repeatedly... the last time, they pried the door around the window out several inches, managed to back the car halfway into the road and abandoned it. At least they didn't get away with the car :?

Thanksgiving was interesting. Went on a trip with the in-laws to a nearby resort... the beach was unusable due to red tide. And the resort itself had downgraded since the last time we went there, so most of the reasons we visit that particular resort were gone.

Hmm, what else happened in the last few months...

I lost the use of my left eye. Curiously, this did not upset me much, but adjusting has been a bit of a pain in the ass. Left was my dominant eye and I'm getting lots of eyestrain headaches. Oh, and it hurts quite a lot but I can't afford eyeball-yanking surgery so .. bleh.

The water heater crapped out, waiting on parts to get that fixed, meanwhile we're playing Russian roulette with an overheating water heater with a faulty T&P valve.

Oh, and because of the time lost with the vacation and eyeball issues, I'm behind on work and trying desperately to get my current project turned in before what I *think* is the payment deadline tomorrow. Not sure, though, and I'm all out of bitching-about-payments points with that client. I do know that if I miss the payment deadline (whenever that actually is), there will be no electricity nor Christmas this year.

                  *exploding head*

Haha....that's probably more like a "I hate STUPID people" whine....which is totally understandable.
