Holidays suck!

Tracking shows my latest getsnus order just sitting at the post office all cold and lonely waiting to make that last 2 miles to my house...but no, it has to sit there since today is a holiday!

Same reason why my order of frozen rats, mice, and chicks for the snakes won't get here till tomorrow either. Right now I could be playing with the dry ice that it's packaged in if it was here! :P

OMG, so happy someone else is as irritated as I was this morning. ONLY reason I got out of bed was to skip to my mailbox. i am waiting for two pipes really, really want. Sat there confused about why the mail wasn't here yet. took a few minutes before I realized it was &^%$# Veterans day.*

Yes, thank you all veterans! But can't we still have deliveries today? hehe I mean, I actually had a package from Fedex come on Xmas last year. :wink:

What kind of pipes did you get?

One is a danish pipe, called a Bjarne pipe. This pipe is from an incredibly kind gentleman on smokers forums who is just giving it to me because am new and he knows I am limited in what funds I have. Not an uncommon occurrence on Smokers Forums and why I spend more and more of my time there)

Now I wanna get a pipe. I have smoked pipes before, years ago. I probably won't though, as I just don't want to smoke(anything), and our house is smoke free, so I'd have to go outside to smoke it.

See, that is the difference between us. I have always posted that I like smoking. I just didn't like being tied to cigarettes.

I live alone, so can smoke here. But half my smoking is sitting outside reading at my local cafe.

I hate most holidays as well. I have an order that would have hit today. I like Veteran's day though. It's good to have things like the mail not show up to make us all think for a minute about what they did and continue to do for us.
